My Body Remembers

My heart, loves like no other.
It holds on for a long time.
Not seeking for another. 
Always ready for the climb.

My voice, says those three words.
The three you've waited for.
Singing through the birds.
Always wanting more.

My mind, thinks of you.
It remembers all the pain.
Hoping it wasn't true,
Always running through my veins.

 Nothing else matters,
You found me then broke me.
Watching as everything shatters.
No longer setting me free.

 Look into my eyes,
Say it one more time.
Before my love for you dies.
Take blame for your crime.

And so you won.

Those Three Words

This moment time is where I hold on to the most. I feel the wind against my rosy cheek and many times people stare at me as if I was a freak. I wonder about the times of the chemical reaction. I breathe in and out as I close my eyes. His image comes to mind... His beautiful smile radiates much sunlight and I can't help but to think of a way to feel his embrace. The sound of his voice relaxes me so I won't faint. All I could think about, if this was fate. I open my eyes and there he is. Holding his breath as I see the beauty that is him. No wonder I feel like a fool. His blue eyes sparkle in the sunlight as I touch the palm of my hand to his cheek. His eyes close as I lean my forehead upon his and I feel protected yet so happy. Everyday gets harder as we cross the finish line, When will our hopes and dreams align? You make it seem so easy, At times I get so queasy. When I think about those times I am alone, You were all I've known, I pick up the phone, I put it back down, questioning myself, If only I could leave all my memories on a shelf. So if I looked in your eyes, I wouldn't fall, At this moment, time could be such a stall, If only I could get lost in your eyes once again, Waiting for you is like waiting for it to rain, You come every once in a while.
