Lately I miss you,
My days are no longer blue,
I think about you all the time,
Becoming hopeless like a dime,

 Your name rings in my ear,
If only you could hear,
My cry for you to see,
How hopeless I feel,

 You seem not to care,
How could you dare,
To walk away with nothing left to say,
I live to break free each day,

 I cloud my mind just so,
I shouldn't have to think of you,
Not knowing the reasons for our meeting,
Even after every seating,

 Your voice reminds me of a quiet night,
A night filled with life and a moon so bright,
You let me go,
I want you to know,

 That Lately I miss you,
Even after everything you do.

Those Three Words

This moment time is where I hold on to the most. I feel the wind against my rosy cheek and many times people stare at me as if I was a freak. I wonder about the times of the chemical reaction. I breathe in and out as I close my eyes. His image comes to mind... His beautiful smile radiates much sunlight and I can't help but to think of a way to feel his embrace. The sound of his voice relaxes me so I won't faint. All I could think about, if this was fate. I open my eyes and there he is. Holding his breath as I see the beauty that is him. No wonder I feel like a fool. His blue eyes sparkle in the sunlight as I touch the palm of my hand to his cheek. His eyes close as I lean my forehead upon his and I feel protected yet so happy. Everyday gets harder as we cross the finish line, When will our hopes and dreams align? You make it seem so easy, At times I get so queasy. When I think about those times I am alone, You were all I've known, I pick up the phone, I put it back down, questioning myself, If only I could leave all my memories on a shelf. So if I looked in your eyes, I wouldn't fall, At this moment, time could be such a stall, If only I could get lost in your eyes once again, Waiting for you is like waiting for it to rain, You come every once in a while.
