Some days are just fine,
I just wish I had a sign,
Some nights are just dandy,
Almost as sweet as a candy,

 I miss those days where it didn't matter,
All I hear is chatter,
You drift far into the sea,
Along with every key,

 To my heart,
I feel so torn apart,
The stars are no longer shiny,
At times I feel so tiny,

 So invisible to all the rest,
I feel a burning sensation in my chest,
If only God could hold me tight,
Just so I can feel tranquility through the night,

 Some day everything will fall into place,
I will feel his grace,
Although I might miss you,
I know now what to do,

 Move forward and wish for a way,
I will always pray,
To some how reach for the stars,
Maybe land some where in Mars,

 You'll find your happily ever after,
I will always be here in a night of laughter.

Those Three Words

This moment time is where I hold on to the most. I feel the wind against my rosy cheek and many times people stare at me as if I was a freak. I wonder about the times of the chemical reaction. I breathe in and out as I close my eyes. His image comes to mind... His beautiful smile radiates much sunlight and I can't help but to think of a way to feel his embrace. The sound of his voice relaxes me so I won't faint. All I could think about, if this was fate. I open my eyes and there he is. Holding his breath as I see the beauty that is him. No wonder I feel like a fool. His blue eyes sparkle in the sunlight as I touch the palm of my hand to his cheek. His eyes close as I lean my forehead upon his and I feel protected yet so happy. Then he says those three words I'd been waiting for... "I love you." As I heard those words role off his tongue. I couldn't help but to smile like an idiot. Everyday gets harder as we cross the finish line, When will our hopes and dreams align? You make it seem so easy, At times I get so queasy. When I think about those times I am alone, You were all I've known, I pick up the phone, I put it back down, questioning myself, If only I could leave all my memories on a shelf. So if I looked in your eyes, I wouldn't fall, At this moment, time could be such a stall, If only I could get lost in your eyes once again, Waiting for you is like waiting for it to rain, You come every once in a while. Everything about you disappears along with your smile, I miss you when the days get longer, Just by hearing your voice makes me stronger, Even though you're far away, I pray to God that some day you'll stay.
