The Passion

So why do I write?
Well I write because it means the world to me and I didn't think it was possible to love it so much. I am intrigued by creating art through words. I want others to imagine what the characters are feeling because in the end they are who they will connect to. The readers won't connect to me, the writer. They will connect to the characters that I create by action, dialogue, appearance and thought. As a writer I want the readers to engage in the story line, love some characters and hate others. I write because it gives me joy and I hope someday to inspire those who believe they have the ability and passion to write. I write for myself too because at times I have these moments where my mind is clouded with ideas and experiences that I must get onto paper. Otherwise, it will bug me or I will eventually forget. Who wants that?
Does it come naturally?
Yes writing comes naturally to me. I realized lately by taking certain classes for college, they challenge me to see writing in a new perspective. By working with different exercises or even analyzing certain works. For me writing comes naturally. Give me a subject and I will create something. Although at times many of my characters won't let me sleep at night because they want me to write their story. One night, I couldn't sleep because of one of my characters, her name is Zoey. She kept insisting that I write this scene for her so I literally turned on my light on the night stand, turned on the computer and began writing and after a few pages, she left me alone. Isn't that strange? As a writer, you want to make your character happy, conform to their late hours and write their story because they are the star and I was simply making them shine.
What inspired me?
My Mother inspired me because she opened my eyes to something I have never seen before. I always thought that I wanted to be a famous musician and actress. But she saw that I write more than I play music and I noticed it. When I was a little girl I would always write, whether if it was a story, lyrics or in my journal. I was constantly writing. I hardly ever drew pictures but there were always words scattered across the paper. I figured out that I wanted to be a writer Freshman Year of High School when I began writing my first book (which needs a lot of editing, like what was I thinking?) and that's when I knew I wanted to make this a career.
What is my career goal?
My major goal is to become a novelist and screen writer. I want to write books and also work on sets of movies because I have always been interested on how they put things together. I also love the whole dynamic of a television series because I have the ability to expand my story as long as I want or how much is needed to complete the story. I want to inspire people and let them know things are possible. Being a writer isn't a dead-end job you just need to find the opportunity, grab it and never let it go. My fall back plan is to become a professor of writing or an editor.
What genres, movies and shows inspire my writing?
I am a BIG fan of the ARROW series. It is like my go-to show when I have nothing to do or when I get writers block (believe me it happens to the best of us). The genres I am more focused on are the romantic love stories, the epic love story, how two characters love unfolds slowly from beginning to end. I also enjoy the phenomenon such as vampires, witches, wolves that kind of stuff. I really enjoy the Disney movies and all the true-story of the movies. I love it when a movie is compelling, connecting and truthful. I like getting to the basis of the character's emotions and feeling what they are feeling. I am a tear-jerkier. I cry at every movie that is emotionally heart-breaking such as when Jack Dawson died in the Titanic, the movie One day or even the Nicholas Sparks movie. Name one and I probably have sobbed a bit.

P.S. I sobbed during last Night's episode of ARROW (3.19) :'(

That is Me(: Comment any questions Below and I will be happy to answer them! Have a Great Day!:)
